What's for sale here?
Can-Am Spyder $17,000 with trailer
Same ad, same seller, it's unlikely that this RT would be in Alberta and San Francisco and Kansas at the same time!
What do you think?

Google that email. 2 pages of that AD in various cities. I really hate seeing these scams. Let's hope nobody goes to far.

Definitely a scam. They'll say send the money and they'll ship the bike to you.

Honestly, it could be legit. I have had stuff I posted on one or two places get "grabbed" by search engines and post on all sorts of other sites.
The location being different can be a concern, but sometimes these other sites drop the stuff into areas where there has been activity selling similar items.
Yes, buyer beware, but be smart, you may get a great deal that works well for the seller and buyer.
One easy way to test the waters is to ask the seller for specific photos. And eager seller will normally accommodate to help a sale.
One step further, as I search for vintage mx parts or trials bikes, I see the same posts littered on many sites. All with the same contact info and sometimes the seller is not even aware he is getting extra bumps.
The real downside on some of these search engines is picking up rap in your computer. Often this can be where redirects are downloaded.

I ask for them to fax/pdf me a copy of the title, that usually kills it immediately.
One of the hardest decisions you'll ever face in life is choosing whether to walk away or try harder.
