You've certainly landed in the right Cabbage Patch!
The ST limited is a great bike; I think that the dealer could "sweeten" that deal a little bit more for you...
Make the deal that you're happy with; that's my advice about that! Good Luck!

    Default Welcome..!!

You are in the right place and members in your area can better inform you. You should shop around for the best deal then offer it to your dealer and see if he will match it. If not .... A great ryde home from a distant dealer is in order...

Congrats and welcome to a fantastic forum filled with more knowledge than you can imagine. Making a deal on anything is very personal and subjective. Do your homework and look up re-sale values on similar models. A new model doesn't often give much bargaining room. Like any other motor vehicle deal, the end of the month is the best time to haggle. If it is used, you have a lot more wiggle room, but it also depends on how much money the dealer is into the Spyder for (previous trade deal, etc.). If you are comfortable with the deal then that is all that matters. Only you know what your financial limits are. Get the Spyder you really want and enjoy the ride!

Every model out there has a quirk or two. Nothing is ever perfect. Understanding what you decide to purchase and knowing how to work with it is very important. You have a wealth of knowledge here. Do some research on this site to know what to expect for your particular model. There isn't much that cannot be overcome. CanAm BRP has made a great machine to have fun on. Now... get out and ride!

Welcome! Upstater has laid out a great approach.

    Default year?

If you're looking at ST Ltd - if it's a 2013 model make sure you get the airflow panels (2014 model already has them, and you can easily see the difference).
I cannot comment on prices in your area at all, but make sure you check out all prices - dealers and private.
Also recommend you read the posts on Extended (BEST) Warranty - if 5 years is included, makes a difference to the price-point.

    Good luck and Enjoy

This may sound silly, but with the 2016 model release in a few more days, you may do better and wait. There is some speculation on these pages that the ST series may be dropped for 2016. Regardless, if dropped or not, there should be some room to work the price once the new models are released.

As for the used one, I would explore that option and consider purchasing a high quality extended warranty.

Hope it works out for you.

You might consider a leftover 2014, it is the same machine as a 2015 and will save you a bunch of $$$!!! Just my $.02.
Good luck with your purchase! I agree with PMK, waiting a bit for a 2015 could save some money also.
BTW: I understand the bad knees thing, that's why I ride a Spyder, and I love it!!!! You will want to put a BajaRon sway bar and his billet Heim Links on for ultimate handling.
    Current ride: 2013 Circuit Yellow ST-S SE5
