Yamaha makes a really good one.It is Spray polish and instant detailer. it's about 7 bucks. I have used it for years and really like it. Works well on other bikes besides Yamaha.

Not suitable for matte finishes. If that is what you have car wash soap(Mothers) and water

I use Lucas Slick Mist and really like it. However, it along with other waxes is not suitable for matte finishes.

I agree with Chupaca Lemon pledge is awesome. Easy-to-use and leaves a great shine. Somebody else on the board here recommended it and I tried can't believe how well it worked.

    Default Polish

I like original bike spirits. Used to be called honda polish, and still is at Honda dealers. Everywhere else it is original bike spirits. I like Lamont's polish, but he is too far away. Smells great! Works great, too!

I use soap and water mostly to clean my Spyder. I usually carry a can of Original Bike Spirits with me but currently I have a bottle of Lamont's stuff.

Default Original Bike Spirits is the best

Original Bike Spirits can be found in most bike shops. I've been using it for years on all my bikes, and I can tell you, it's the best. The guy who owns this site sells some stuff too. He sent me a can of it when I purchased something from him. I tried it. It's ok, but nowhere near as good as Original Bike Spirits.

I really like the Black Diamond Detailer from Lamont in the Aerosol can.

Lemon Pledge is easy to carry along, easy to use, priced reasonably, available almost anywhere, and gives pretty good results...
It can leave a streaky finish if you're not careful about the wiping chores; that's about the only downside to it.

But for serious cleaning; I use Meguiars Quick Detailer.

I tried Lemon Pledge, once - and, as we rode Skyline Drive, every time we stopped, my Spyder was mobbed by bees!

Apparently, they like that nice fresh lemon scent!

I use same products I use on auto paint: meguiers quick detail for small cleanups and techwax for the full treatment. I'm sure the paint on these panels is the same used on modern autos, base and clearcoat.
