I'm interested in buying it. I do have a question for you. Does the vented windshield give you better air flow?

Just a little better not much.
When I'm by myself I have the windshield down all the way. Not much vent help there. When It's up halfway or more it's better.
The taller windshield help out a lot for the wife on the back. Less wind on the helmet.

I have some questions to determine what I should buy and if this isn't the place to ask about windshields, am happy to start a new thread.
How are windshields measured? I rode a friend's with a "vented 25in" which I assume is a BRP brand...after a conversation, he thought I might actually want a 23". So how does a "shorty" compare.
My RT came with a tallish stock shield which if I keep, am gonna cut 3 or 4" off. All the way down, the top is right in my line of sight. I want the top at eye level with the shield halfway up.
So I assume a "shorty" is too short to do what I want.

The 25 has a lot of range, all the way up I think it's too high. I look through about 5" of shield. But with all the adjustment, finding the right height is no problem.
The 23" would be my next choice.
I'm guessing the shorty is about 18".

thanx...I'm going to cut my present stock shield to 23 or 24, basically place the adjustment halfway and cut level with my eyeballs...down would be breezy and up will protect from rain hitting my face

I have a 2014 RT, and my stock shield was 25". I cut 7" off, and am very happy with the shield now. I am considering purchasing a shorty shield (should be about the same as my cut one) and doing a dark tint to see what it looks. I have another shield that is stock height, but 4" wider that I like to use when the weather gets cooler.
