Rear Tire Gone at 10,000 Mi
Just replaced rear tire with a Vee Rubber VTR-350 2015 Run, V35004 Arachnid Touring Rear 225/50R/15 has anyone had any experience with it yet?

Not good..!!
First F3 tire change and not that good. Double the RT 14's early edition but should be better. Will watch to see how the others fare... do let us know how the new Arachnid does for you...

Make sure you run at least 30 psi in the Arachnid. I have had 2 of them and I was running 28 psi and they wore out on the outer edges. Vee Rubber folks suggested that I run 30 and I am doing that on the current tire.

I ran 28 in the first one and the tire went bald on the outside edges at 7,500 miles. On the second one I did the same thing and when it started to go bald on the outside I contacted the rep from Vee Rubber who suggested that I run at least 30 psi in it. Doing that I was able to run the tire bald across the entire surface. On the third tire I put 30 psi in from the get go.

Having my rear tire replaced at 10,000 today. Going to stay with the stock tire and see how it goes

Prior to the rubber compound change on 2014's, I was getting a consistent 15,000 miles out of all my rear tires.
Got 8,900 on the OEM on the 2014 and now have 11,000 on the second one. The center is now showing wear. Going to finish the season (2,000 - 3,000 more), and then put a fresh skin on at the beginning of next season. Also going to drop the air pressure to 26 to see if less ballooning might help with extended mileage.

Factory markings show 26-30 PSI so I am taking your advice with 30 PSI
