    Default New to 3 wheels

My extremely sexy husband and myself are thinking about going from 2 wheels to 3 and we have been looking at the Spyder RT-S. We have a ton of questions and hopefully we have come to the right place and won't be to much of a pain.

You've certainly found the right place!
Ask anything that you want, and you'll probably get at least sixteen different opinions, seven anecdotal stories that apply, four that do not , three other new folks will want info also, and one person will scream at you to read the manual...

.....I live next door , so Howdy neighbor........Come on over to Moretown Vt 05660 and visit for a spell........Yes it would be a 2hr drive up I-89 but it would be worth it. ( less if you get off in Northfield Vt and go thru the 3 covered bridges in Nfld. Falls and over the mtn rd. )..... If you have a MTC license I might let you take mine for a drive......I have owned three and can answer all your questions from a knowledge base with no Hooey ..........Seriously ........Mike

If there's no "Hooey", then where's the fun?

Welcome from your neighbor to the south, a newbie 3 wheeled rider myself. Are you locked on to the new three cylinder ACE motor? I ask because I have a cousin that bought a 13 RT Limited and he just can't find happiness on it and wants to sell it. Older gent that can't convert his mind from two wheels to three is all. Update has been completed and at last check he had a whole 400 miles on it. Let me know if interested and I'll get you his number.

I DO believe you have come to the right place. It's the most active Spyder site I have run into. A wealth of experience and information. Ask away! But, BEWARE! Once you get "bit", there is no going back! Have fun!

You have come to the right place. Test drive(s) are in order. My unbiased guess is that you will find one or two that fit nicely.

There're quite a few of us here who have switched from two wheels to the three wheel Spyder. There is quite a difference in the riding experience, mostly on the positive side.

Long test rydes are in order, and if you're like me, keep a two wheeler or (three or four of 'em) around as they ain't the same thing. Each has it's place.

I think that the 2 closest Spyder dealers....one in Rutland Vt., and the other in Concord N.H.
Any other dealers in the Westmoreland - Keene area?? I hear that Freedom Cycles in Concord does a fantastic Laser alignment on Spyders.
As an aside.... The Killington Classic motorcycle rally is going on in Killington from tonight till Sunday. It's worth a ride up to check it out. I've already seen several Spyders going up and down the access road. You may get some good info up there.
