Video Ride through NJ pines
Hello All,
Just a short video Meg and took while riding through the pines off of RT 542 near Batsto NJ. Used a bracket mounted to dash and not really happy with the vibration in the video. Camera is a Garmin Virb and open to suggestions on how to improve the shakiness. Will post a photo of the installation later today. It seems the entire dash shakes while riding.

Can someone please tell me how to imbed the video in this post?
Take Care,
Louie

Nice video. Road could pass for SC Low Country.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Is that road the little loop off of 542 you turn onto right at the entrance to Batsto village? That's a nice ride but be careful of the locals back there. A lot of bikers treat that as their "race track" and the roads are known for boobie traps. Just be careful.[emoji106]

We do a nice 542, 563 loop out there all the time. Or ride all the way out. Or ride out 653 to the end of Great Bay Blvd. Dodge the flies!!

Yes Drew, that is the road. It is called Bulltown road. Funny you mention boobie traps. Earlier this year going around one of the blind 90 degree turns, there was a whole crapload of sand. I thought at the time, if I was on the Vulcan we would have wiped out. The Spyder rear end did slide a little but nanny did not kick in.
I did see a guy on a Harley turn on the road, that is how I found out about the road. So far have not seen any other bikes on the road.
Make you laugh. This was my practice road for learning how to drive the Spyder around sharp turns at speed. About a month ago stopped at my dealer to pick up oil and coolant an mentioned to him what I was doing on that road. He goes, "oh yea we know that road".
It seems a Female rider (could happen to anyone though), had just purchased a brand new Spyder from him and lost it going around one of those turns. I was very careful with speed in the beginning, no shoulders and margin for error.

Yes, have done that loop, very nice. The greenheads are still bad there right now (only live a few miles from there). Their fine until you stop for the traffic lights!!!
Another month they will be gone. Meg and I have been on the Island a few times this summer with the Spyder. Learned what days to stay away!
Are you going to Spyderquest this year?

Great video too!
It did not involve Banjo music, did it?
