    Default New to this

First I'm happy to find this fourm. I'm a T8 complete para from a bike accident. It's been 15 long yrs but now I'm ready to get back in the seat and ride again. I tried to give up riding but realised it's in my blood and I can't give it up. What I'd like to know is has anyone ridden the 2015 F3 yet? I was thinking about that or the ST. The RS has me crouched too much. Also a way to take my chair with me. It's a TI ultralight. How easy is it to lift and put it on without the use of core muscles? Any help would be welcome. Thx for listening.

    Default Bummer..!!

the part of not knowing his name but there was a young para at SITR that custom makes carriers for wheel chairs, golf bags, guitars, fishing poles and rode there on his GS chair and all. If you get in touch with the organizer and member here..Kaitlyn aka spydergirl she can get you his name...glad to see you forging on.. there are ways....

Welcome, and it's great your getting back on the ride. Spyder makes it possible for a lot of people that want to ride and have physical challenges the ability to have the freedom. I had polio, and had no way to even ride a trike, but a hand break on the RT and I was set free... Hope you find what you need and look forward to hearing about your trips soon. Ride safe, but mostly, just ride baby ride!

Default Spyder F3 was sold but ...

Called about the F3 but was sold. Gave me some great info about it and carrying a chair. Has me stoked about riding. It will happen (and not to soon)!

I found that the F3 is a great choice. Being almost 4 inches lower and having a more adjustable riding position I have found that there are less forces trying to push you off to the outside when cornering. Also I find the F3 is very comfortable on long rides. There are several folks that have made wheel chair holders for their F3's and now the hand brake kit is available from ISCI for the F3. Another bonus is the riding range between fill ups is close to double the ST, RS range.
