    Default Check Engine Light.

So it was around noon and 102 degrees yesterday, my bike had been covered since I got to work. Took cover off to go to lunch, started my bike and let it idle while I put my helmet on. When I went to take off I got a check engine light. Found out it was the air temperature sensor. Did it again today. Anyone else have this happen?

    Default Yeah..!!

but goes away once you get some air flow through the plastics. The sensor is reading the pavement heat when still and asphault gets up over 150* here 170*. Try for some shade

Had the same problem, thought it would go away after riding a few miles, but still there. Was told by another member to pull the codes, but that only applies when Ce light is still on. Mine went away after putting in garage for a few hours, that day was 107
