don't have my Spyder RT as of YET, but I am working on it. I know on my Harley road king if my IPhone's cell data or wifi is turned on it screws with the factory security system. took me most of the summer to figure out what was causing the problem. and it wasn't just my IPhone doing it either, the wifes did it also. food for thought.

I got the following info from an email ( to my personal email on August 17,2015) BRP said" We have had cases where a cell phone or magnetic card, ,placed near the ignition switch cause this. This includes any device that may emit some type of frequency". Hope this helps Deanna
