    Default Tank bags for RS.

Thinking about getting a tank bag for my 2012 RS. Any suggestions? Want to keep the price down and still get good utility out of it. I plan on putting gloves and such in it but also to use it for iPod and a wireless blue tooth with a wireless speaker.

Nelson Rigs makes a useful one for under $30.00 that should nicely fit your requirements

    Default Nelson-Rigg

This is the one that I bought shortly after I bought my 2012 RS.

It's going for $37 now. I know there are newer versions of it for $50+, but this one works great for me.

I have the same one. I like the storage and really like the clear "map" window. I place my Galaxy 5 in it and use for gps, in addition to a Jawbone ear piece for turn by turn.
The side pocket holds my garage door opener which make it easy for me to press the button without removing g it from the tank bag

Has anyone installed a Bags Connection (gas tank locking ring, snap on/off) tank bag on a Spyder?

It's a butte. No, it's a mound. Right purdy, too.

BRP has a nice one at a nice price though. $109.99. I guess we should call it $110. Had them on both my 2008 and 2009 RS models. Page 107 of 2015 accessory catalog.

As others mentioned--there are less expensive alternatives.

Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

I have the nelson rigg bag and it works fine. If I were doing it again I would pick up a magnetic bag and epoxy some big washers under the plastic. A good friend is running a magnetic bag and it's a super clean setup.
