Default Went into Limp Mode Twice

Any thoughts on why my 2014 RT Limit went into the Limp Mode the last two days?

    Default Mode

I have been to the Dragon twice in 2 weeks - 495 miles each way.
First time there my brake lights would not go off (before I rode the Dragon) - pulled fuse and kept going. Ended up in limp home mode. That is a long trip at 58 mph.
Took Spyder to dealer and they blamed it on my floorboards. 1 1/2 hrs. later and $122.00 lighter I left again for the Dragon.
While riding it again my lights came on and stayed on until I got to our Cabin in Robbinsville. The lights stayed on for about 2 minutes and went out - have not come on again since.
Limp home mode came on again and I headed home next morning at 58 mph. At my first rest area I tried fuses and tried to make the brake lights work -no go!! When I left the rest area I shifted @ 4000 rpm and the LHM did not appear again until I reached Harrisonburg,Va -then it came back on.
Still off and have appt. this coming Friday.
Fuses have been tested and all other lights work fine -I think I have a bad switch. Time will tell - let us know what your problem turned out to be,

    Default Limp Mode

Mrs Ruth, I have no idea why it is in limp mode but it sounds like Hattiesburg cycles needs to look at it.
I hope it is nothing major. I would offer more assistance but I am still in Mexico, sorry.

Turn the key on and after you press the mode button to get past the startup screen you need to Press the Mode, Set and Turn Signal Cancel buttons all at the same time. The center of your display will go blank or it will have a code, a letter with 4 numbers.

If the code is no longer active the screen will be blank. Inactive codes will show up when your dealer hooks you up to BUDS.

Would turning on Bluetooth on my phone cause this problem? The only time I went into the Limp Mode, I had the Bluetooth on.
I checked for Error codes, just a blank screen.
Will be calling the dealer tomorrow

The dealer should be able to see the fault codes when he hooks up buds to your bike cause they are stored in the bike.
