    Default No..!!

but there have been several posted here. This one seems more portable but wonder how durable in the hot sun all year long. If you go for it a member review would be great...

    Default Great Idea, but...

I doubt if it would survive the first snowfall where I live, never mind an entire winter.

    Default Yeah...

I am looking at it as a 3 season only option. We also have a Sea Doo(jetski) that we store in a family members garage
for the off-season times. Would prefer a temporary garage or shed but very few of them have wide enough doors to get
this inside. Looking also just for weather protection...I park 2 other vehicles behind it in the driveway to take care of the
risk of vehicle theft. Anyone else use something else?

I bought a Shed-in-the-box from Tractor Supply (http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pro...rage-shed-gray) for less than the price they quote for the trike shelter in the original post.

I do go and brush the snow off after each storm, and I also bought an extra tarp to keep on it because the only two complaints I read were that the UV rays eat up the covering, and that excessive snowload cannot be handled (well, duh!).

The 12X12X8 is a good size and I have had it up now for almost a year and am pleased with it. Just another alternative.

I'm definitely looking at this one. I will have to go with a slightly smaller model as I believe my driveway width where I would
put it is only 11' wide. I would probably add a tarp to cover it and cement blocks to attach to the legs as it will be sitting on a
cement driveway. Plus is that it is level and minus is that the screw augur anchors will not be an option. I just need to find the
door opening specs on the smaller(10 x 10 x 8) model. Thanks! TSC is a very familiar friend of ours. Lol.

I bought some rubber "stall" mats at Tractor Supply too... to make a floor. (Well it is an iron horse, right?)

Even the inexpensive units work good if taken care of. We bought two units from Harbor Freight last year to store camping equipment and tools for the winter. We would go out after every storm and clean them off. The only problem we had was drainage in one of the units. Luckily we had put everything on skids. They will be okay to use again this winter.

    Default I like that model!

    The one on the left...

I bought this http://www.harborfreight.com/10-ft-x...age-62286.html at Harbor Freight on sale plus used the 20% off coupon. Lots of reviews so as far as snow goes you likely need to keep it swept off.

Home owners here would never allow anything like this.

    Default I have one.

When I bought my Moto Guzzi I got one, figuring I would add a sidecar. I live in rainy Seattle and it is pretty good about keeping things dry but not warm. Humidity is still there. I also get green algae all the time...on the outside. Not on the bike.

The front got some cleaning and looks better. Yeah, getting rid of that trailer, too. Ok, it's a bit messy right now. Also, small driveway. the Barn JUST fits.

At this point, I am still working on getting the Guzzi ready to sell, and with climate change Seattle hasn't had rain to speak of in a couple of months. So, I haven't had the Spyder in there yet. Aside from the green slime and the humidity over the winter, it's done a pretty good job of protecting the Guzzi.

My father has been gone for about 30 years, and I have rarely been to his grave, but as I get older I find I want to go there and think a bit about my life. Plus, it's a great bike ride!

I've had a bike barn for 9 years now. I keep my Ural with sidecar in it. It has lasted well. I've had to replace a few of the poles due to them rusting out, barn sits on the ground. Mine also has some mold growing on the outside, it helps it to blend in to the environment. it has handled some bit of snow but I do try to keep it cleared off. I don't know if a spyder would fit in there. I keep my spyder in a 12 x 10 shelter logic shed.

Default Needed something to cover her...

I went ahead and placed an order for the BB in trike size. Didn't feel comfortable with having to
add another tarp to the top of the tent garages to let them survive from UVs. Size of the BB is also
perfect to sit in my driveway(cement) and still have about 5 feet distance to walk past it to the backyard.
Not sure how long it will take with Fed Ex ground shipping as I don't know where the BB US warehouse is
located. Throwing a tarp over the bike is just embarassing until it arrives....sigh.

Will update with how it fits and if I end up with sleeping in it from getting my better half to help with the
    setup....

Ill be be interested in your impressions over time. Thanks much for posting. I've been interested in these for awhile, although hoa might have a fit.

I suspect anything portable would be killed by UV where you live. A lot of posts on the portables only lasting
a year or two before having to replace the covers on them. I will only use the BB for 3 seasons and it is semi
shaded by being between two buildings so will see. This falls back to my having no interest in having a permanent
garage added to a property that I won't keep for more than the next 5 or 6 years. But still want to take care of
    the Spidey....
