OEM backrest adjustment?
Just got a used 2014 STL with the Can-am backrest (not pictured). Is there any way to adjust it back a bit? I feel like it pushes me forward.

Passenger backrest? I do not believe BRP makes a driver backrest for the ST. If you have a driver backrest it may be aftermarket seeing that you bought it used

backrest adjustment
If it's the passenger backrest, yes it does adjust but I can't quite recall how... tip it forward and it slides on two metal prongs back and forward (I think)
If it's the driver backrest it is aftermarket (lucky you) and it likely has a little screw which you can wind by hand to change the angle of the padding, it would be at the base of the prong which has the padding on it, before the bit that goes in the seat.
All sounds a bit irish, but hard to describe.

Passenger backrest
I'm asking about this ST backrest as seen on the Can-am site.

Don't know why, but after we added the armrests the back support felt ok. Really enjoying being a passenger now - not as much as being the rider, but must be willing to share the fun.

Good to hear that the arm rest are working well for you. When my wife and I travel we switch off piloting and riding about every tank of gas. We have started a rule that the passenger is responsible for taking pictures as we go. Works out pretty well.

Cognac, where did you get the armrest for the ST? I can't find any.
