I've seen some videos of Triked-GoldWings clawing their way through the Tail of the Dragon...
... on BOTH sides of the road in the turns!

I do like the number of lights on the back end, but seeing that wheel lift up makes me really glad I went with the Spyder over the conventional trikes I was considering. I knew you could make the wheel lift but I was under the impression that it took quite a bit more to do so.

I'm glad a conventional trike wasn't even in the cards for me.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

After riding the old Honda 3 wheeler I knew I was not interested on a Gold wing Trike. The spyder just seems so much safer to me.

Road a Honda 3 wheeler many moons ago and found the only way to make them steer at speed is to gas it hard enough to have the back end slide, otherwise it's over ya go. AND don't put your feet down(don't ask me how I know this)
I know we may not be able to beat a GW trike in a straight line----- but on a curvy road????
Tight curves on a standard trike cause::::

Love the Nanny
Have to say I have lifted the front wheels a couple of times on the Spyder and the Nanny is there to bring me back to earth. "Our Nanny is a Good Nanny! She keeps us safe" and on the road! And she's OK with 100mph! under very controlled straight ahead driving situations only!

Lamont was also captured in a photo on his Spyder with his front wheel off the ground........ All trikes can lift a wheel if pushed hard enough.

a dealer told me one of their service techs did it -- backwards through their parking lot with a hard turn at the end.

I rode a Harley Tri-glide once for about a mile. Pulled over and told my friend he could ride it back to the store. By the time he got back to the store he was terrified !.. It felt like it wanted to tip over the entire time I rode it. No thanks !! Spyder all the way !!!

The reason this photo came up today was that it was on Killboy's highlights list from last week. Along with many other photos, there was one of a guy on a Spyder that was taking a curve in the wrong lane. To top it off he was wearing shorts.
