Linda was all set for me to trade the 2011 on the "latest and greatest," so that she could snarf the 2014.
I also hope it not a touring F3.

Liters from cubic inches.......divide inches by 61.1. There's 61.1 cubic inches in a liter. 81 divided by 61.1 = 1.3256955, or 1325.6955cc.

Sorry, but using 61.1 cu in/liter suffers from an error in the derivation of the 61.1 number. An inch is officially defined by International Standards as being 2.54 cm. Therefore 2.54 x 2.54 x 2.54 x 81 provides an exact equivalent which is 1327.352184 rounded to 6 decimal places! There is actually 1000/16.387064 = 61.02374409 cubic inches in a litre. No idea where you found the 61.1 number but it ain't right!
Now, let's argue about something that matters, like is a touring model of the F3 the greatest thing to come down the pike since the 1330 engine, which by the way is 81.16157965 cubic inches! That of course is assuming the 1330 number is the exact displacement of the 1330 engine, which is quite unlikely! And you know what happens when we assume!

While the 2016 unveiling may or may not be a Touring edition of the F3, I do expect it to be an expansion of the F3 family, in one direction or another. It will be interesting to see what direction they take it, if that's the case.

New touring F3 or RT
I don't have a clue what will be unveiled but with all the current deep discounts on RTs we may have a hint. Bob

1.2 million bikes in one spot might be the reason.

(Weren't we already told that you can't order any more RSes in Great Britain?)
Don't most of the people that go to Sturgis ride a bike already. I've never been, but it seems that the people who attend are fairly hardcore, based on what I've read in the past. My point is why would BRP unleash (at Sturgis) some model for those that have never ridden, or cannot afford too much. I still think they will go for another demographic market (other than what you've chosen); they'll be looking to convert those already riding a 2 wheeler.
Bob D.,
A side bet. If I win, you ask Lamont to change your post count to 1, where it will stay forever. If you win, I'll send you $25.

I hope its a vehicle instead of an accessory like a key holder or something like that. All I can say is don't tick off the sleeping giant (customer base) with some hype trick.
One week and counting.
I agree with you " I think that their will be an introduction of one new 2016 product. Time will tell Deanna

What better place to introduce a Touring Cruiser F3 with over One million bikers, and thousands of them drove over a 1,000 miles to get there and are "Shall we Say?" Getting on in years?
I can,t picture how to turn it into a Touring Spyder without making it look like an RT?
