    Default Quite the ride

Met up with my Brother-in-Law this morning for a ride.
8:40 am meet up in Harriman State Park, in NY, at Tiorati Circle. Rode up to Hawks Nest. Nice ride, but to avoid a parade in Port Jervis on the ride back, we took route 42 to route 17. We wanted to stick to back roads, but had to make time up. He needed to be home by 2pm.
Entering Tuxedo, NY we had decided to stop for coffee, it was 12:30pm. As we were riding I see a wallet..I flip a u turn..stop, dismount and grab the wallet. While having coffee, I try locating the owner, who lived locally, via 411.
Unfortunately, his address on his license was an old one (note: when u move, update ur info). Thankfully, his old neighbor knew where he works, and wallet was reunited with its owner.
Arrived home @2:30pm. All in all, a real nice day.

Great gesture. A lot of people would have stopped at the bad address point.

Thanks alot..I explained to the young man that there was a reason I found it. I mean, my brother-in-law past it, and at least 5-6 cars by time I was able to turn around and park, plus it was in front of a gas station (he left it on top of his car). I told him he must be a good person because somehow I was the one who found it, and one day I hoped he could "pay it forward ".

Way to go bud. Pay it foward indead ... & all the people that read this & or the owner may tell are affected as well . Better random kindness than the hate the world is drowning in. For those that dont know I was mugged last month 6/22 where I was TKO & my wallet stolen! Minor injurys but after a TBI in 2012 , MAJOR concerns. Fyi cops think it was sum young punck out of school getting thrills, & or the knock out game featured on youtube last year. Sux either way (& IM STILL HERE!)

Hey, I am very sorry to hear that, my friend. I hope you fully recover and are on top of your game real soon.
