Is anyone producing a trailer hitch for the f3?

Don't think it is going to happen.

This is what it says on page 74 of the ops guide.
No Towing
Do not tow anything with the vehicle.
The VSS will not be effective, and you
will be more likely to lose control.
but I think you would have to get pretty crazy for this to really have an affect. JMO

no towing
yep, book said 'no towing' with the RS range too, and we've all seen plenty towing successfully. I reckon that as long as we stay within weights including towball weight, and ride 'knowing' we're towing (the same as we modify some driving habits in our cars when towing), then all should be good. As far as we're concerned, the F3 engine/trans is far better suited to towing our little trailer than my twin ST - and I honestly think we've enough riding/driving years behind us to make us alert to the need to modify some riding techniques just a tad.

This is not true. A Florida resident built his own trailer hitch and pulled his trailer on a week long trip in NC/TN including on the Dragon as well as every other route in the area
. He is as crazy as a ryder gets and the VSS still worked.....

I believe the liability concerns were driven from people not installing the hitch correctly, not necessarily whether the bike could handle the hitch or not...
