    Default cat bypass springs....

Installed my cat bypass and yes the top spring is as difficult as everyone says it is. But after looking at it, wondering why a clamp wouldn't work. Anyone try one? Thinking I may investigate.....

I purchased a headlight spring tool. Well worth the $14.00 and have found other uses for it so it definitely has paid for itself.

The right tool; for the right job!
I learned about their importance back when I was always pulling expansion chambers off of my two-stroke snowmobiles.

it's still hard even with the tool, someone on here had a good idea, they said to mount the one side of the spring, and use a string through the other side to stretch the spring to get it on

    Default Wire coat hanger

Coat hanger. Stretch out, wrap around a screwdriver as a handle. Pull spring in place. Cut hanger away. Done. Free. Painless!
