extended warranty
I bought my Spyder a 2012 RTL on June 5th 2015. It is a year and a half out of warranty. I checked with the original selling dealer and he looked it up by vin. Since the BRP warranty is expired I am unable to buy the extended warranty from BRP. Does anybody know of an aftermarket warranty ? Since there seem to be a number of expensive things go wrong I would think this would be good to have, tho maybe on second thought not so good to provide

Ask your dealer about a Zurich warranty. I am pretty sure you can buy it but it will have a $50 deductible. If you buy it before the warranty expires it has no deductible. My dealer sold me mine so yours should be able to.

Thanks lyonsden I will check that out. My warranty had expired before I bought my Spyder but I can live with a $50 deductible.

As it turns out my dealer had no clue as to a warranty. I called a Can Am Atv/UTV dealer in Richfield He does not sell new Spyders but has sold a few used ones. He handles the Zurich warranties so I bought it from him. I was real impressed with their dealership and wished they were a Spyder dealer as well as the off road stuff. BRP wants a new dealer to order to many units for start up for a dealer in rural Utah to be able to make any money.

Glad it worked out for you. Luckily I haven't had to use my extended warranty.
