As in the "Blue Ridge fix" thread it might help to provide some info in case someone else is interested in trying the same thing.

I had to remove the handle bar end to get at internal aluminum piece. I then shortened it, drilled and taped it, so I could install 7/8 in bar to mount the bar end mirror. It has already saved my butt twice on a trip to Nashville. Sorry about no info the first time, I was just glad to send the pictures.
