Default New spyder , but a question

I just picked up my new F3-S this past Sat. I noticed the rear shock does not have any adjustment. This is a problem when riding a passenger. Are there any options other than the $1000 shock from Can-am? Other than that totally loving the F3. Also what is involved in changing the shock?

    Thanks

    Shawn

so far this is my biggest complaint with the f3s! you'd think that they would have done a little more homework on this. there are other threads dicussing this already. i have looked into the elka's stage two which john thinks would be fine for our weight load, (405 pounds) and also air shocks. i'll try to dig up the company for the air shocks, however, they are not answering e-mails!

Is there a price and a part number for the Elka stage 2?

Not trying to offend anyone, but the stated load limit on the F3 is 438 pounds. If you are close to that limit, you will have issues:

I upgraded the rear shock to the Fox Podium. Once I got the preload set and stiffened up the front a bit I can now go two up with the wife or grandson (he goes a little over 200 lbs.) and really ride hard with no bottom out or roll in the twisties. Made a big difference to upgrade the rear.
