I have this one. It's attached to my Blue Ridge windshield. I'm 6'1" and it helps, but it's still not tall enough for me. If you are under 6' then it'll work well.

Default I am not sure what you are waiting for . . . .

. . . . It has been discussed here a lot and I have not seen a posting by anybody who has bought one that doesn't like it - the Masdstad shield.

I have had mine for a while now and I still think it is great.

Well here you go the first negative of Madstad. Disclaimer I didn't buy one but rode on a F3 with a Madstad. I personally wouldn't waste my money and the person who's F3 the shield was on has returned it. It didn't work fore but not one size fits all. Just my humble opinion which to some or most means nothing. Just sayin

I am 6'1" and the 20" Madstad is perfect. Cruising at 80 mph and no helmet buffeting. And it can go higher if needed. Thumbs up from me.

Surprising based on my experience, but it is nothing new for me to read something on this forum that leaves me scratching my head. Sorry it didn't work for you. Totally worth it for me.

Sorry to make you scratch your head but it was a huge disappointment and glad I didn't waste my money on the Madstad. I was lucky enough to have a chance to ride and test it out. When I got off I said you are returning this right!

The Madstad is a fantastic shield, and I agree with Tom, money well spent. That shield works amazingly (already 3000km with the shield on, and can't imagine riding without it).

But it I have over a thousand miles on my F3 with madstad shield and it is perfect! It is infinitely adjustable and will manage the wind blast and put it anywhere you want it. I had the blue ridge before with x-Creen clamp on before that. Did you even know the shield was adjustable?

Is an X-screen, I I got mine from Twisted Throttle website. It helps a lot, but not the complete answer. Again, helped a lot. It was about $115. Well worth it, but Madstad is perfect!, for me, anyway, I'll sell my clamp-on X-creen for $79 if you want it.

That is the small one, they sale a larger X-screen that I am considering purchasing. I have never like the look of the Madstad.

    Default Sorry for the delay...

    Here's a picture.
You have to play with the orientation. I had it all the way up and it caused weird buffeting on my helmet. I moved it down a little and out and it helped reduce it. It's real easy to put together and adjust.

I agree. I took my madstad out for a 100 mile spin this morning at average speed of 75MPH and felt like I had the same protection as I do on my RTL. I also like the looks of the shield on a black/chrome F3
