Thumbs up Devcon 22045 Plastic Welder

I think everyone has at some point run into the breaking of the various tabs and plastic "spears" (don't know the official name )on their tupperware.

I've tried various products. Some work; some do not. Those that work, don't seem to last (at least for me).

Recently tried Devcon 22045 Plastic Welder.

What a huge difference from others, I've tried. Break is stronger then new.

    Highly recommended!

    Default God to know

I recently broke one of the tabs on a plastic cover. Tried superglue to no avail. I'll check into this stuff. Thanks for the idea.

I will have to check that out.
What I have been using is epoxy and some super thin fiberglass cloth. Works but is a pain.

    Ordering some now...

    Thanks for the tip.

It sets in a few minutes. Make sure you follow the instructions. Especially the part about letting the epoxy cure for 24 hours before reinstalling the part.

This is also an epoxy Bob, but formalized especially for plastic.
Seems besides bonding it (for lack of better terminology) melts the plastic together to form a solid bond.

Been the fiberglass cloth route myself. Like you said "pain" but also "flexible" so will never give the original rigidity.
