    Thumbs down Dealer frustration!

Scheduled my bike for the recall rework two weeks in advance. Talked to service manager and agreed to give them two days to do work, knowing it was there first one. Will be picking up bike SATURDAY! !! After a long discussion Thursday, found out they broke off a bolt and had to retap. All they had to do was be up front, what happened, and I would of understood for a slight delay. Will be going over my bike very thoroughly before leaving dealer! I know they changed service managers , not sure what their other issues are. I will not be returning to this dealer in Baldwin in the future!

Sometimes, but not always, taking to the mechanic can lead to issues. Also been there and done that.

Angry Update to my latest frustration

Dealer called today at 5:15pm,informed me that recall was done. Wanted to know how soon I wanted the bike back! Dumb question, I knew something was Amis. He stated that I could pick up bike and bring it back later for the oil change. You would think, since they had the dam thing apart they would change oil,DA
I said change the oil, like I requested I thought it would save them time since it was torn down to do recall! I can pick it up tomorrow at noon, I AM GETTING VERY NERVOUS NOW! Not sure if anyone qualified is working on my bike. I asked him why wasn't it done when bike was apart, reply was the tech that does the initial builds on spyder was on another project.
If they don't see the steam coming from my head when I walk in tomorrow, they will certainly hear it in the whole building! !!
