That looks way too sterile. I prefer greasy old torn leather seats myself.
Only kidding--looks too nice to ride on.

Nice! I went with saddle brown instead of the white. I was afraid I would spend too much time keeping the white clean.

Hi,
How does the passenger do for room, comfort? How much better do you find comfort level over Oem seat ? Don't you just love all the questions ? Thanks for your time.

Jim:
Your Ultimate set up looks gorgeous. When I added the Ultimate seat to my Spyder I also went with the white Ostrich trim but used a little less white than you did. I was worried about keeping it clean.
One item that helps the Ultimate seat is a replacement strut. The factory strut doesn't have the strength to hold up the heavier Ultimate seat and even though I wasn't raising it that much due to the gas through the seat feature, it ultimately bent.
I was about to replace it with the $69 Can Am part when I saw this post last month on SL....
On my 2014, & the seat wouldn't stay up. BRP/CheapCycleparts want $60 for the replacement. I found that the one in there was a SUSPA which is cheap and was a replcement. At O'Reily's I found a Stabilus SG359011, 40# for $27. Fit perfect and should last forever. 2 minute job.
I bought the strut from O'Reilly's and it has a 40# capacity versus the factory strut that I think it 20#.
Good addition with the seat.
Penny and Rick have owned many motorcycles starting in 1974 with Hondas, then to Suzukis, Gold Wings and ultimately Spyders.
