Default Route 129 with a Lamonster Garage twist

Getting ready for a long trip on the F3 so I decided I needed a little wind protection so I went with the Route 129 shield but I couldn't leave it stock so I did a perforated wrap on the inside of the shield. It came out killer.

Yes, very nice addition. It's really going to screw with the bugs when they try and navigate through the holes.

Aesthetically, I am not a fan of large wind screens but you made that look pretty darn good. Could you take a front-on pic of how it would look coming down the road from another rider's point of view? Also, what are those speakers and how did you mount them? I was thinking of putting speakers inside the fairing behind the opening that the blinker kit goes in.

The speakers are part of my 1400 watt Shark Audio system. I drilled and tapped holes to mount them.

How much wind protection does this give you?

I rode into the shop today and you still get a lot of wind but I don't get as much lift on my helmet as I did before. I think it's going to work out just fine.

Any local sign shop should be able to install it for you. I wouldn't try it myself.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice ... in practice, however, that's just a theory.
