Nice Saturday ride. Sounds good. Tom
Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?

do they care
if you tag along on your own spyder? I wasn't sure so I signed up for the ride at the same time as my husband and some friends. I figure if nothing else I'm holding a spot for one of our friends who doesn't want to pre-register. He may or may not show up. If he does and there's no room, he can take my spot and I figure I'll tag along behind the BRP sweep rider
We're signing up for May 31st in Colorado if anyone in CO is around and interested.
We now have His and Hers Spyders!
Current Spyder: White 2015 F3-S SE6
His Spyder: White 2015 F3 SE6
Previous Spyder: 2012 RT Limited SE5 -- 30,300 miles
Previous rides: Kawasaki & Honda

Vader,
The Missus says that I'm good to go...
...as long as I've got travelling companions for the ride.
Do you have any idea of where we can meet up?

I didn't realize that you were that far "down the line..."
I'll see if I can find somebody from up here...

I'm sorry bout that Bob!
Hope to meet up with you guys there. I know you have to register to participate in the demo. I am unsure if the Ryde will be limited to parking lot or back roads.
We should also try and have a get together with NY, Pa and NJ riders... Maybe High Point?

Motorcycle Mall July 13
I was up there (I'm in south NJ) on Sat. for replacement of my trailer hitch wiring harness, the original harness they installed shorted out and caused me many problems, but they corrected their error. Anyway I spoke with the Asst. Gen. Mgr. telling him that several Spyder Ryders from NY, PA, and NJ were planning to attend and would there be any festivities. All he told me is that Spyders would be deeply discounted.
In March I upgraded to the 1330 at Motorcycle Mall. They gave me a great discount in the 2014 RT Ltd SE6 with a very generous trade-in for my 2012 RT Ltd (sight unseen until I picked up my new baby).

Demo results
Just got back from Can Am Demo Day at Motorcycle Mall in Belleville NJ..here are my thoughts...
Rode my 08 GS there..not so bad, almost all highway and light traffic there and back.
The check in was easy. Watch a few videos and got set up on the F3 with paddle shifter. I just wanted to see the difference between my manual and the semi auto.
My likes: I like the ryding position vs my GS.
I kinda even liked the paddle shifter.
The ryde was smoother and the auto downshifting upon braking was sorta strange at first, but I got use to it fairly quickly.
What I didn't like: The fact that I was warned not to return with a different ryde than I left with, lol! Having two sons, one in college and one in catholic high school, my wonderful wife had a point..
All in all I really liked the F3, but would like to test ryde the manual one. One of the others taking the ryde said the shifter position was odd for him, but I believe he rides a two wheeler.
Now I just have to hit the Powerball. .a guy can dream..
