oil light problem
Boys today happened to me a strange thing on my CAN-AM Spyder RS SE5 2009 I was turned on before the oil light flashing then fixed but the oil level is OK as it is ok even the water temperature please you advice what should I check?there is a bulb where oil is located

Sounds like failing oil pressure switch. Could be loss of oil pressure in the engine but its far more likely the switch.

also try the key walk. Remove the key and walk away. Return later and turn on the ignition for a minute then start the spyder. Let it warm up a while and see if the light goes out. When was your oil and filters changed..?? If still on have the oil pressure checked if that is good then the sending unit is faulty...

It sends an electrical signal to the oil pressure light when your oil pressure falls too low.
If your Spyder hadn't been ridden in a while it's possible to take a minute for the oil pressure to fill all of the passages.

guys are really great after several tests with my mechanic did figure out that it was the oil switch you gave me a big hand because the assistance for my CAN-AM is very far from my home town in southern Italy there are only two centers for mechanical spyder, thanks
