Default Custom Rims possible task to do?

Hello everyone, I have been working on getting some Rims Custom for some time now. I need some ideas here. I have a custom company who wants to make custom rims for the Spyders. In order for him to sell the idea to his company to place in production he needs to have an idea how Spyders were made in 2007 and then how many were made 2008. He knows this will most likely be an educated guess? The reason he needs to know is so he can figure out how many rims he is going to need to fulfill the market for this, then he will have ideas How many is needed. The more is needed that'll be more cost effective it will be. So what you think, how many Spyders are in this world?

Also how many of you would be interested in Custom Rims for your Spyder?

I don't think there's a released count as BRP has been mum about their production numbers. There was 3856 Premier Edition Spyders built.

No numbers from BRP. My best guess would be 8,000-10,000 total...tops. BTW, there were a few hundred Spyders produced in 2007, but they were 2008 models, the first model year.

    Default wheels

I would love to see some other wheels out for the spyder. I am very interested. Some 15 or 16 inch wheels woud be nice.

Wheels in sets of THREE please. Maybe the aftermarket can give us a rear wheel we don't have to be double jointed to get air in the tire.

I think Industries 7 went out of business. I bought one of their windshields.

    Default REAR WHEEL

TELL YOUR COMPANY THAT WE NEED A REAR WHEEL IN THE 16, 17 or 18 INCH SIZE... THIS WILL GIVE US HUNDREDS OF CHOICES FOR TIRES...
NOT MANY COMPANIES MAKE THE 225/50R15's, yet they do manufacture the tires we need in the 16, 17 or 18 inch versions....

This post goes back to 2008. Information is a bit dated. Lots of custom rims available for the current rides from BRP.

Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

Don't know if you got the info you need but I found this on Wikipedia.
    http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/BRP_C...pyder_Roadster

By October 2007, approximately 2,500 units had been sold.[3] By May 2009, 12,500 Spyders (9,932 of them sold in the United States) had been manufactured.[4] Approximately 21 percent of its sales are to women.[5] In addition, some 27 percent of Spyder owners have never previously owned a motorcycle.[6]

Don't know how up to date this is or how accurate.
