all dash parts and intake grilles painted plum crazy purple
all black body parts on body an mirrors painted to match the bike
only thing left to do is figure out what graphics and pinstriping... then get the brushes out and get that done
I do all my paint, lighting, wiring, etc myself just have to stare at the bike long enough till something pops to me.. i will probably change it three times before i end up with the finished product
as for the color,, can am does not publish paint codes ,, but colorrite www.colorrite.com i believe does sell the paint in spray can or by the can with clear and solvents. I have access to a body shop paint mixing system so got about 20 pearl white chips got the closest one and tinted a bit and came up with a pretty close match.
all the work is in the prep in sanding out some of the texture of the black panels then the expoy primer then sanding again and then painting

I know ive seen it here before but ic you could tell me which white paint matches id precciate it!
I did my Dash surround using Dupli-color Toyota White Pearl .......It has the metallic base in the paint which is translucent.......You will need to use a plastic paint primer first......( I recommend a very light gray if you changing black to white ) .....The translucent paint, because of it's make-up does not cover well , hence the light base coat........I think it was $ 9.50 per 12 oz. spray can...................Mike
Thank you for input!
Have a few scrapes to deal with
OK, I thought you were going to paint an entirely separate panel .....like the rear black piece or the dash surround etc.........for doing very small touch-ups I would get something from color-rite or another seller that is actual BRP paint......a paint stick etc. from them is not a big expense and you would be happier...Good Luck ......Mike
