I am by no means disparaging a Fox or any other brand shock. But...

I think you'll find the custom-made shock from Cogent Dynamics in Asheville,, NC, with rebound and pre-load adjustment to be competitively priced. Their remote pre-load adjuster mounts conveniently right behind the small lower right side body panel, just above the swing arm. You would never notice it unless you were specifically looking for it, yet it is right where it needs to be for making easy changes.
