Default First ride of the Season!!!!

Started working on the Spyder on Friday night at 6:00 pm. Needed to replace the spark plugs and grease the a arms. Took 10 minutes to change the rear spark plug and 6 hours to change the front spark plug. Plugs had 26,000 miles on them. The electrodes were worn a little, front was burning a little hotter than the rear plug. I ended up removing the right sub frame. The hardest part I had was the manifold screws, Tight working space. Had both plugs changed out and fresh ones installed by 9:00 pm. Called it a night. Started working on the Spyder at 7:00 am. Worked till 9:30, I had to do a service call. Started again at 2:00 pm. Finished at 3:00 pm. Took it for a 6 mile run and it ran really good on old gas. I'm glad I did this, but what a pain in the arse. Went for a 30 mile ride today. I was grinning from ear to ear.

Just want to say hi! We just moved to the Lincoln area from Tampa. Looking forward to riding the beautiful Maine roads. I changed the plugs and wires a couple of weeks ago as it was running on one cylinder. Not my favorite job, but got through it okay. Take care..... Art

Okay, I'll be looking for you, only seen one other Spyder up here. Shouldn't be too hard to spot!

If you get a chance to ride in Vermont try route 100 north and South, and try Route 108 from Stowe goes to Jeffersonville. Deanna
