    Default Radio for the F3

Yes, I am looking into adding a radio to my F3 also. Sure would like to know what would look good on it. Pictures would be great.

    Default LOOK HERE

You can check E-Bay for something from " SHARK ", I've had two and was very happy with both.....Make sure your choice has the " WIRED REMOTE " so you can operate it on the handlebars if you mount it there........The last one I had was 650 watt ( I doubt it tho ) 2 channel ....had two speakers + a FM radio...cost about $ 125................It's really small 4 X 3 X 1.5 inches ..................Mike

My friend Kenny in St. Cloud just pick up this one to put on his F3 http://www.sharkmotorcycleaudio.com/...usb-bluetooth/. He is working out the mounting at the moment. I think the plan is to mount it behind the gage pod with all 4 speakers up front. At the moment my wife and I share the stereo on the RT via our sena headsets or stream from our phones if we are not both riding.

Thanks Mike. Hopefully someone posts pictures showing the F3 with a radio and speakers setup. I'm curious to see if it would look good on the bike or corny looking like I've seen on some bikes.

I'd recommend an in-helmet audio system... you can chat with your passenger when you have one, answer your phone, and listen to tunes/radio on your phone.

    I got http://www.sena.com/product/intercoms/3s/

    It's worked well for me.

1400 watt Shark Audio. USB, SD and Bluetooth. Best tunes I've ever had on a bike. I've installed 4 of them on F3's now and they all say the same thing.

I just saw this system on Lamont's bike at SPYDERFEST, looks really good. I think there are some pictures on one of his posts that show these, or maybe he will take some after SPYDERFEST winds down.

There is also a guy on the Can Am Spyder Owners Facebook page that has done it as well. He stated today that he will be uploading a video as well, watching that thread as well, as I am also curious to the sound.

Should have mine delivered tonight. How did you mount the speakers to the side rail? I can't quite tell from the pictures.

Thanks for post, in-helmet audio system is my next purchase. I have my helmet, leather jacket, rucksack, sunglasses and my Sony bluetooth MP3 player which got delivered to me Sunday. I know I want a Sena product because of the great reviews and I purely want it for listening to music from my MP3, was looking at the 20s but now seen your link for the 3s. I will view the comparison between 20s and 3s and find out which one is the latest product and best for listening to music only. Any comments would be much appreciated

Went with the Shark 1400 Watt system. Bought the amp as standalone and then bought two speakers that are a little better quality than what comes pre-packaged with the amp. I just added Sirius/XM by buying the Garmin 665. Best Buy price matched at $549.00 with 12 month 0%. Not a bad price for GPS and satellite. The Garmin/XM plays through the Shark amp. If you go to the Shark website you can connect to You Tube videos of their speakers and amps installed and playing.

1400 watts? Shame on you Lamont. The Harley guys are now complaining about YOUR noise. I just use bluetooth in my helmut, earplugs and and crank it up without annoying anyone around me.

Do you have contact information for Ben? I would be interested in this style of enclosure for my F3.
