Default Need a Trouble code reset on 2010 RT - how? Limp Mode likely?

Other than going to the dealership, Is there any way to reset trouble codes on a 2010 RT?

If there is Actually something wrong it won't clear without correcting that issue ..... however the Spyder computers are very very sensitive and will show " non problem codes " if taking the key out of the ignition and moving it 2 ft from the ignition and then re-place and start doesn't clear it ( it should ) .... dis-connect the battery cables and touch them together - then re-connect (using Star washers on terminals ) .... this should clear any non problem codes ..... good luck ... Mike

Both of those codes relate to the Injector Fuel Pump Metering exceeding it's allowable parameters, so they might not clear too easily.... or it could just be that you've got some dodgy fuel in there!

Default Will codes P0551 & P0552 cause Limp Mode?

Will driving with P0551 & P0552 codes cause the bike to go into limp mode? I’m 50 miles from the dealership.

As said in the other thread linked above by JayBros, those are DPS Codes, relating to the electric power steering. If it's failed completely, you'll get heavy steering and not much else.... but if it's an intermittent or power supply issue (check battery charge, terminals, and earths, then load test - battery could be weak. There is a recent Forum thread on load testing! ) then it could produce erratic steering during a ryde, possibly with savage changes as it powers on/off making things more than just a little hairy! Ryde with extreme caution until it's fixed!

How old is your battery? It may be too weak to properly operate the DPS.
