Officially no. In theory is should be able to be done. The biggest problem is the "Entertainment Harness" which is required for the XM kit. There is hardly any place to put it. Maybe cable tie it up into a ball and stuff it in the tail. So $500 for the kit. $200 for the Entertainment Harness. A little pricey I think. Do a search of this site and others have got XM at a lower cost.

I might just get a small xm radio and find a way to mount it on the handlebars. I see mounts for it but that's where my stock GPS is. I can always just use the xm app on my phone but no way to change stations

Easiest and cheapest way is to set up an online account. I think it's $3 or 4 dollars a month. Then download the xm app on your phone and stream it to the st. Cheap and easy!

Default Sirius XM in top box

I put my portable Sirius radio in the top box, cigarette lighter plug for power and acc audio adaptor that came with my RT LTD plugged into audio out works pretty well. Can't change channels till I stop again but that's OK. Worried about antenna placement but found that a small piece of Velcro to attach it to the inside flap in the box works with the box closed.
Never saw a hearse with a trailer hitch!

That is what I am also going to do. I have a portable unit in my wifes SUV and an extra mount and antenna. This way I do not need to buy another subscription. Just have to get the Bluetooth Dongle first so we can listen on our SENA headsets.

The streaming on line dont always work. We normally stream iheart radio but we get into a lot of areas with no cell service. So when we head north into the mountains sat radio will be the way to go.

Can Am's XM radio is just plain overpriced!

Do you know how much streaming you do on a regular full day of riding on your Spyder. I figure out 7 to 8 hours of riding and streaming? I am asking because I do not have unlimited data package with AT&T.

    Thanks

0.92 GB in one month on Spotify
I listen to it quite a bit

The usage is not bad at all for the huge variety of songs avail

If it is a big concern it may b worth it to pay 5 a month & have music avail when no signal

    I am a heavy listener
Two three hrs at a time
