HMF Exhaust Installation - Need Help
I have a 2009 Can Am Spyder GS and I just bought the HMF exhaust and was doing the installation and I noticed it just doesn't slip on to the head pipe, it doesn't seem to fit. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it and get it installed?
Thank.

Depends..!
there are some pipes that need the gasket, some don't. If it seems to small to slip over you can run by the muffler shop or autoparts and use an expander. Some autoparts rent the tool so you don't over stretch it...

Ditto. '08 Spyder GS. Easiest install ever. Are you sure you got the right one???

No gasket for the 08-12 GS/RS HMF. The slip fit connection can be pretty tight on some machines. Another rider told me they had to use some sand paper to take off the sharp edge/burs to get the sections together.
