    Default Cops Got Trikes!

    Kinda cool.

    Posted by Mark
I was in Kuwait City yesterday heading to a meeting when I spotted a Police Can-Am 3-wheel motorbike parked. Not sure when they got them but have been fairly recent since I hadn’t seen a cop version before.

    Default Summer in Kuwait City?

Think they ryde them there in the heat of the summer? I'm not sure that the ryder wouldn't catch fire?

    Default PD TRIKES

It looks like a newer model..........I'm surprised they didn't opt for the RT with 1330 engine , it runs way cooler than the Twin......But they may not know that .................YET .....Mike

Just wondering. A couple years back one of the Missouri police departments tried some 's. Does anyone know how that worked out, and if they are still using or have updated to newer ones?

    Default Richmond Indiana police Spyders

Not a new article, but at least I am not the only Spyder in town.

    Richmond Police Department
wrote a new note: Richmond Police Department unveils new addition to its police vehicle fleet.

    October 26, 2011
The buzz has risen to a roar and the questions and comments are pouring in as Richmond, Indiana welcomes a new police vehicle to its streets. Unveiled at the City’s celebrate kids parade the police department’s new motorcycle units have hit the road and are causing a stir. The Can Am Spyder recently took the place of the department’s more traditional Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the reception has been unprecedented.

Motorcycle patrol officers have found themselves as impromptu spokesperson’s fielding questions at every stoplight, the new units have definitely met with community approval as thumbs up and smiles abound. The Richmond Police Department is not only enjoying the publicity, but is excited about this change for other reasons.

The Can Am’s three-wheeled stance offers a more stable platform from which officers can work. The increased stability lends itself to improved safety, decreased training time, and increased riding seasons offering more bang for the department’s buck. These factors in addition to the added fuel savings is a win/win for the City and its citizens
