.... because I was having so much fun with my newly acquired 2012 V8 GMC Canyon. But THEN, I took my second Spyder ride of the year and had so much fun, I changed my mind!
I sold my Harley for a Spyder. Can't even begin to think about getting rid of it for four wheels. I just retired and am looking forward to riding my Spyder even more. It would not be the same on four wheels. I just love being out on the road in the open air taking trips. I don't get that when I am in the car.

Good for you.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
I drive a mini van so my Spyder will always be #1 on the fun meter.

Wife has bad back and almost never rides with me. Dog is mad because I sold my 105th Road King. He was a lot more comfortable leaning into turns on a bike than fighting being thrown off in the turns on the trike. When we head out to the door, he runs to the truck and jumps up and down happy as he can be at 12 years old, but when I walk over to the Spyder, he hangs his head, follows me and jumps on obediently, but saddened..
I drive a Chevy Impala LTZ, and my spyder will always be there when life gets stressful, and on the fun meter too.
Also I can take either my spyder or my car anytime I want. I do have a preference in the spring/summer on which one I take. Deanna

I have yet to pass ANY car on the road (and in Los Angeles you'll run into just about every car out there) and think "I'd be having more fun driving that Lamborghini/Corvette/Whatever than riding on my Spyder".
This is a particularly good thing, because I also don't have six figures to spend on a car.
2020 RT Limited in the ultra cool Deep Marsala Dark edition.
Baja Ron Anti-Sway Bar, LED reflectors, Lamonster USB Charger (and phone mount), Can-Am Low Windshield, X-Creen Tour Variable Windscreen Spoiler Blade, Power Commander, Dilithium powered Flux Capacitor (not yet fully functional). Maintained by Lou at Pirate Powersports.
Good choice. I have a Kawasaki Nomad 1600, a Ford F-150 4X4, a Can Am Commander Side X Side and I still would never think about selling my Spyder. No such thing as too much fun.

I passed a Ferrari the other day while riding my Spyder. When I looked over at the guy driving it, he pointed at my Spyder and then he gave me a big Thumbs Up. I smiled, waved back, and thought to myself, "No need to spend $250K"

Since Spyder came to our house the mileage in the cage has gone waaaaay down; the only time I ever drive it is to leave town on a 2000-4000 mile trek, or haul something too big for Spyder. The last time was when a friend needed to replace both batteries in his Dodge diesel pickup, and heck, that's been a month ago!
Oh! I do take it out when it needs gas, but a tank of gas now lasts missourigirl a looooooong time.
