New member and Spyder owner
Hello,
Glad to be a new member of what seems to be a great forum. I've been a member of motorcycle forums for, well TOO MANY years. We bought a 2014 RT-S in yellow and the farkling is to begin today ( hasn't even had the first service.)
I'm starting with the anti-sway bar and bumpskid today. soon to have the highmount brake lights.
I noticed that there isnt a riding group in northern Nevada? Anyone in or about Reno??

You have good taste when it comes to color and accessories. I also have the bumpskid and high mount brake lights.
Sounds like you are catching "farkleitis."
Thank you all for the warm welcome On the V-max site we called farkling "being had by the mod monkey" And a powerful little primate he is!!!!
Well the anti-sway bar and bumpskid are installed!! Took longer to get it high enough to get the old bar out. 5 hours total---- the skid plate only took a few minutes( as the spider was UP )
Kaos
PS:
I mentioned that there was no riding group in Reno---- we do know a good friend with an RT ( Probably one of the reasons we purchased the Spyder) and have seen a few around, but no official group. "biggest Little City in the world"------living up to it's motto again.

Congrats on your new purchase, my brother lived up there for 7 years, lots of nice roads when its not freezing or the wind blowing at 100 mph
Seeing as how you just got it did you ride the original sway bar long enough to see the difference with the ronbar, i assume thats what you got?
That is the one thing left i really want to do to mine, and maybe bags but the dishwasher just went out and i need to get my driveway redone.

There is a very active group in Sacramento and some of their members live in the Reno area. Are you on Facebook? If so, go to Spyder Ryders of America Sacramento Chapter and say hi there. Maybe someone from Reno will chime in.
Also, be sure to check out Spyders in the Redwoods, the biggest Spyder event in the West. They are on Facebook and also their own website.

Welcome! You have a great machine and two very appropriate farkles. Ride safe!

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.
