    Default WTB rear shock

I replaced the spring on my rear shock. I think the shock is bad. Does anybody have a take off that they would sell cheap?

    Default Rear Shock

Put Elkas on my 2011 RTS SE5 a couple of years ago. Sold the 2 front shocks but still have the rear shock if you are interested. $50 plus shipping. Just let me know.

What kind of ride difference is there from replacing the rear shock? I put Elkas on the front of my RT and it corners so much better. Like a new machine.

I can tell you the difference is like night and day.
When I replaced the front springs, I thought I had a new bike. It took the turns easily, like on an exit ramp or a circle.
I have bad shoulders and I use to have to fight the steering.
When I replaced the rear spring, The ride was just so much more comfortable. We ride 2 up almost all the time. We used to feel every pebble in the road.
I put a 1,100 pound spring on the shock. If I would do it again I would probably go with a 950 - 1,000 pound spring. Especially if you have an airbag or ride 1 up.
1 up for me is still a great ride. We're also thinking of pulling a trailer so the 1,100 pound spring will help with that.
Not any more. Now it feels like we're riding on air and my airbag was disconnected because the compressor was broken.
I just rebuilt that and will put that back in next week.
