They shoot accurately, and are comfortable to carry!
I'm not the biggest fan of the 9mm. Ins a home defense situation; you'd better make sure that you've got it stuffed full of the right ammo... Over-penetration can be a problem... Ideally; you want the projectile to stay inside it's intended target...
Bob...can't you use 9mm like the below for home defense?

Truthfully; I'm far more a fan of the .45 ACP...
Fat and Slow; works just fine!

I keep a 9mm close by at home. Loaded with Liberty Home Defense 9mm+P. I carry a Bersa Thunder Ultra Compact .40 loaded with Federal HST S&W 165 grain hollow point. My drop gun is a Taurus PT22. My wife just got her CCW. Will probably get her a S&W 442. She has problems racking the slide on an auto so the 442 will be fine for her.

Bob, I've got a Taurus PLY-22, if I use ammo hot enough to cycle the slide, it breaks, I'm looking at a Beretta Bobcat, in .22.

I would take that gun and break it up before it explodes in your hand.

The Missus carries a Minx, in .22 Short... She has never felt under-gunned, because she's confident in her abilities to put all of those rounds where they most need to be put...

I open carry when I ride with my Kimber or Para full size .45 ACP. I like to shoot quarters at folks if need be versus a nickle or dime.
I was just given my first 9mm for a retirement gift from my unit after 23 years in the Army. I was talking about getting into 3 gun so they picked this out for me. I havent had a chance to shoot it, but cant wait.
