I like the different design. Did you make that yourself?

Many years ago when I bought a mountain bike, I had to make my own rear bike rack because none were made for my size bike frame. (17")
When it was replaced with a commercially made one, I had to learn how to shift my weight all over again for proper traction in different situations. Thought about putting the heavier one back on?

Looks cool but rather small, is it functional?

I don't have a brake that will handle 3/16" aluminum - wish I did. This was the most tedious farkle yet!!

It is 9 1/2" deep X 16" wide at the center. Strong enough to hold anything the lid can handle.
Built mainly to hold brake light and of course , looks also!

Nice rack!! Lol.... No really, you did a great job on that mod. If I didn't know better I would have guessed it to be a bought rack. From one fabricator to another, good job.
