    Default 08 spider GS

    Wife went to go start her bike had an error code on when she pushed it to first gear revving the motor up caused the reverse light in the neutral light to flash any ideas on this please help....

    Good possibility the gear position sensor has gone bad or come loose. The R & N alternate flashing is telling you it does not know what gear it is in.

    you can try pulling the key walking away then make sure you are in neutral when starting. Put in gear and ryde a bit to see if the error clears. If not you will have to have the gear position sensor checked...
