Default Found another place for pure gas

    Greetings all,

Today in Pensacola Florida, I found that a Raceway Gas Station located at W Street & Fairfield Drive has pure gas available and at today's prices it was $2.69 a gallon.

Putting Ethanol in gasoline has never been about price. The price of gasoline with alcohol in it would be higher than pure gasoline were it not for government incentives and subsidies. Some people believe it contributes to fossil fuel conservation. Others believe it improves the environmental somehow. I have never seen any credible evidence for either of these hypotheses and much evidence to the contrary. One thing is a certainty. It contributes to higher food prices, particularly meats.

There is a website and a smartphone app to find ethanol free gas. www.pure-gas.org is the website.

    Default Pure Gas site

WWW.pure-gas.org identifies stations around the county that sell pure gas.

    Hi,
I noticed that some, not all, WAWA gas stations have ethanol free 89. The stuff is a bit more expensive than Hi Test. I have been using it when I can and my '14 RTL likes it. Mileage-wise it's a little better. It's tough to determine mileage on "straight gas" (ethanol free stuff) because I usually have to fill up with ethanol stuff for the ride back. Filled up today @ $2.99 9/10 (3 bucks) per gallon.

Ethanol does one thing, well . . . it makes money for the companies that invested in ethanol production at government urging, and for others who get government subsidies to continue the production . . . In the entire world, two nations, the US and Brazil use over 87% of produced ethanol . . . one would think that if it was economically feasible, everyone would be using it . . .

So running regular without ethanol wont hurt our bikes if we use it all the time.
