That is the Canadian price. The us price should be 15 to 20% cheaper. If you order from a US online discount retailer. It will be another 10% cheaper again.

Default If you have the time....

send yours out to be plated it is much cheaper....any brp accessory will be highly over priced. They need to find better suppliers but everyone sees the chance to gouge....

    Default Chrome?

Real chrome plated or "chrome-like powder-coated"?

I'm planning to have all three rims powder coated when I need new tires - I've been quoted $210 for all three rims, and the other bits I'm going to have done.

I'm not a chrome person for my bikes - still wrestling over the color choices....

Spray the front rims with Plasti-dip the color of your choice and see how it looks. If you don't like it peel it off and try another color. When you find the color you like get them all powder coated that color.

PVD chrome is far superior then plated chrome, depending on place is just as bright more durable & chemically resistant
    when cleaning

I really need to talk to the folks you talked to. I got a price quote of $680.00 to chrome out my rear rim, hub, and sprocket from a cycle shop in Augusta, GA. That's what been keeping me from doing it.

I appreciate the info OSM. I have been emailing back and fourth and they have some really good prices for chrome plating. Only problem for me is, i got to take off all the parts which might be a pain, and ship to the parts to them, but well worth it for the money i'll be saving.. Thanks OSM
