Default Who has a droptail trailer? Possible review.

    Hello all. Happy new year.
I'm thinking about picking up a droptail trailer. Any reviews, concerns, praises?

    Thanks.

Snoopy is still grouchy because he got a lump of coal from Santa.

DropTail (the brand) trailers are pretty good and easy to pull and store.

I use a single axel 7 x 12 foot utility trailer. It tows great. Easy loading for my 2011 RS-S SE5. This size trailer gives me room for storage boxes(bolted fast) and other stuff. Cost of trailer $900.00 with spare tire, mount, and wooden decking.

Not sure what you are talking about. My Look trailer has the floor on the last four feet angled down and believe it is called a Beavertail. It keeps the loading angle of the ramp at a smaller angle and the RT does not scrape when loading.
    I like it a lot.

Thought he was asking about a type of trailer (drop tail), not a brand of trailer (Droptail). Sorry

Thanks. I like this brand because of its storage feature. Folds up and stores vertically in my garage.

I like mine a lot, especially because of the small storage profile. It does take some work to use, but I think that's true of all trailers.

I'm finding that I am needing it less and less (meaning I need my car less and less, and can take the Spyder without the trailer) so I'm considering selling it for that reason.

    Default Drop Tail Trailer

I love my Drop Tail trailer; it is a breeze to tow, easy to load and unload, and folds in half for storage, either on end or on the wheels!!!

I have a drop tail trailer and it has turned into a rust bucket. Other than that and some other minor issues it does as advertised.

If you will be storing the trailer outside all year. Aluminum, or galvanized is the only way to go! Otherwise, rust will start immediately. Tom

    Default Drop Tail Trailer

We have a Cargo Craft single axle drop tail trailer. Have used it to trailer the Spyder and help my kids move. Trailered the Spyder to SpyderFest 2012. It was a good investment.

I had a Droptail trailer which was stolen in Albuquerque, NM on 1-1-16. Insurance company settled yesterday.
    I liked the trailer and
Am getting ready to order another one.
I have looked at every trailer made and can't find a better one. If anyone has any other idea of a trailer which meets my requirements please post or pm the information.
My tow vehicle can only tow 2,500 lbs, so trailer needs to be open flat bed.
Must have ramp to drop or fold down which is wide enough for Spyder.
Trailer must fold up for storage in garage.
