Loading rt limited onto utility trailor

I just purchased an aluminum trailor with a folding gate. When I tried to load the rt I found that the ramp was too steep causing it to hit the bottom. I found a couple oh wood planks and put them under the gate. I was then able to load the bike.

I am wondering if anyone has found a more elegant solution.

If you could have some metal ramps permanently mounted onto the OEM ramp.
A couple of decent pivots, that would allow you to flip them over for usage...

There was a recent thread on this with lots of suggestions, do a search and you will find it. I just jack the tongue of the trailer a bit , doesn't need much.

most of the ones I've seen have reverted to the trusty wood planks but checking the angle a lengths needed you could have the trailer shop make a mod for you..otherwise back the trailer to the curb if possible when planks are not handy...there is always a curb my wife hit them all the time...

ive got a 6by 10 yout.and i got a wheel on my trayler so i just crank up the wheel till it makes the ramp less steep and loads right up then crank the wheel all the way up so it dont drag the grand and off i go

So what is the trailer brand/model, size, etc ?

Hard to beat just having some boards handy to level the startup angle because even a seemingly level surface that has dips can surprise you at the last minute.
