    Default As a Victory owner...

Victory has never had a water cooled motor. I had a 2004 Kingpin and it was oil cooled with a big old oil cooler on it. It's sump held six quarts of oil!!! Now my 2012 Cross Country (also oil cooled) only holds four and a half quarts of oil. The Kingpin had a 92 cubic inch motor with a five speed tranny while my Cross Country has a 106 cubic inch motor with a six speed overdrive transmission.

Didn't they have a catchy name for it?
    Something like, "Dual-cooled"?

Actually; most of us were just trying to figure out how to get our overfed and over-aged butts into it, without looking like the back-end of a baboon!

The Kawasaki H2 always had a crowd around it...
I was amazed at how many folks wondered how they could sell the H2R as legal for the street...
(It's not: the race slick and $50,000 price tag kind of tell the tale. )

so than i am corrected, my victory was oil cooled ??? i sure thought it was water cooled. but now that you mention it i had the oil cooler between the front frame pipes, i remember that because i bought a chrome cover for it. i also took the air box out and put the K&N kit in it to open that space up for more air flow.04050815344.jpg

Did you guys notice that winsome young Lass who was taking the pictures with her I-Pad at the Indian Booth?
You know; the one with fluid drive, and painted on pants...
I told the Missus that we should adopt her...
I think that I might have some vision back in my eye by next weekend!

How about the 4 models that came out for the Indian photo shoot around 2-2:30pm!
I could feel the wife's stare burning right through me as I tried not to look!

    The Missus ran the camera...
I'd post more of the Slingshot; but I'd hate to get Randy too excited...
