Starting after storage
Fact: 2010 Spyder RT-S
Problem: After storing the Spyder over winter it won't start. It acts like it isn't getting gas even after performing a Wide Open Throttle. However, after leaving the bike for a few hours it will start, but will chug through about 15 - 20 seconds before ramping up to idling speed. On a sidebar, if I trailer it the same issue occurs.
It is not flooded. I can flood it if I partially open the throttle while turning it over, but it won't hit.
Any ideas on what to look for? Thanks.

Was stabilizer put in the gas before storing? Was it run long enough to get the stabilized gas to the injectors? If not, the injectors are probably varnished enough to be partially plugged.

No. Don't touch it. I'll try the wires but it only happens after the Spyder has sat for a while or it was in transit. Otherwise it starts fine. Thanks.

It wouldn't explain why I experienced it after transit.

Yes. I add the stabilizer at the station. We live four miles north of that location. Definitely in the system by the time I get home.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Little checking..!!
good suggestions above..also check the fuel filter. You may have build up restricting the initial flow of fuel...i
